Join us for our Charity Golf Day on Friday, 25 July

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Charity Golf Day, proudly supporting the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Research Centre. This special event combines a great day of golf with an opportunity to raise funds for a truly worthy cause.

Event Details:
Date: Friday, 25 July 2025
Time: 8:00am Shotgun Start
Competition: 2BBB Stableford
Courses: Woollahra Golf Club & Royal Sydney Golf Club – Centenary Course

Cost:

• $85 per person (includes golf and lunch)
• $75 lunch only

There will be fantastic prizes, raffles, and auctions throughout the day – so bring your best swing and your generous spirit!

Below are just some of the auction items available on the day:

• Sydney Sundancer – Sydney Harbour cruises
• Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort experience
• Premium golf equipment
• 1986 US Masters Jack Nicklaus framed photo

To register, book and pay at the Club Office. For visitors, please provide GolfLink numbers so we can enter them into the time sheet.

We are also gratefully accepting donations – whether it’s a bottle of wine, a gift voucher, a cash contribution, or a special item. Every donation helps us achieve something great.

Earlier Post

We are asking all Members to donate a bottle of wine from their cellar to support the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. The wine collection that results will be used as prizes in a major raffle or auctioned to raise money.  One less bottle to drink but not miss!

Obviously the better the wine the more successful this project, and if you would like to contribute but have exhausted your home supplies, we have a wine list at the bar where you can purchase a bottle to donate.

If wine is not your thing, you can still donate and make an impact with your contribution by way of money, a voucher or any significant item that you feel would help us achieve great things!

We hope that you will support this initiative and “thank you” to those Members who have already generously donated.   Please leave your contribution (with your name) at the office by Friday, 18 July.

Earlier Post

Due to scheduled construction on the golf course between August and October, we’ve moved our Annual Charity Golf Day to an earlier date this year. Please mark your calendars for Friday, 25 July.

As always, the event promises a great day of golf, fun, and fundraising – with all proceeds going to Chris O’Brien Lifehouse a hospital that is solely dedicated to treating and researching cancer.

We would be incredibly grateful for any donations you can offer to support the day. This could include vouchers, wine, or other items suitable for prizes or raffles.
